Butler Community College

Through our partnership with Butler Community College, students can begin taking college-level courses while still earning their high school diploma.

Students have flexible options, including:

• Taking a few college courses to get a head start
• Exploring transferable general education classes
• Working toward an associate degree while still in high school

Some students may even graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate’s degree at the same time.

Fort Hays State University

Through our brand new partnership with Fort Hays State University, SVA students can begin taking college-level courses while still earning their high school diploma with an EXCLUSIVE scholarship that saves $100 off per credit they take while enrolled with SVA.

This means that SVA students:

• Can take college courses in high school
• Earn credits toward a 4-year degree
• Recieve a discounted tuition at $100 off per credit!

Who is Eligible?:

• Students currently enrolled at Sunflower Virtual Academy 
• Anyone can apply however students must be a junior or senior to enroll in courses

How to get started:

• Apply as a non-degree student on Fort Hays portal
• Set up student accounts
• Complete onboarding
• Register + pay for classes
