Yes. Sunflower Virtual Academy is a public school within USD 402 and is accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education.

Sunflower Virtual Academy is a tuition-free, Kansas state-funded public school, meaning there is no cost for enrollment. A small technology fee between $15 and $50 may apply depending on a student’s free or reduced lunch status.

Students are encouraged to set their own schedule and work a minimun of 4-5 hours per day for 5 days a week to remain on track. Those hours can be any day, any time of the week.
